Bible Training Davao Region

“Please pray for our second Bible Training modular class for pastors and workers in Compostela Valley and Davao del Norte. May the Holy Spirit use the preaching and teaching of His word to bring Biblical renewal and reformation in this disaster-stricken region.” – Pastor Glem Melo

New Hope

Last February 25 and 26, a month and a half after our first disaster relief outreach to victims-survivors of superstorm ‘Bopha’, we conducted our very first 2-day modular Bible Training class in southern Mindanao. The 12-hour introductory lectures on Biblical Theology and Ministry were attended by 24 pastors and leaders — 19 from Davao del Norte and 5 from Compostela Valley. Our next 2-day sessions will be held on April 29 and 30.

Please pray for these brothers and sisters in Christ. May the Lord sanctify and equip them to serve the people of the disaster-stricken provinces of the Davao region.

About New Hope

We are a community of people who believe in and live for Jesus Christ. We embrace and proclaim the Gospel as taught in the Bible and explained in the teachings of the Reformation: Salvation is by grace alone (sola gratia) because of Jesus Christ alone (solus Christus), received through faith alone (sola fide), based on the teachings of the Bible alone (sola scriptura), all for the glory of God alone (soli Deo gloria). SALVATION IS BY GRACE ALONE, THROUGH FAITH ALONE, BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE, BASED ON THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE ALONE, ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD ALONE.
