God our Creator is our Covenant King and Father

“To be human is to be in covenant with the Creator. And to be in covenant with the Creator of the universe is to be perfectly and completely blessed and secure in Him. The question is… Are you a covenant keeper or a covenant breaker?” – Pastor Glem Melo

“God” is the term used in Genesis 1. In 2:4 and following, “LORD God” is used. “LORD” or Yahweh is God’s personal name, which He revealed to Israel (see Exodus 3:14 and 6:3). It is His covenant name. This teaches us that we were created to be in covenant with our Creator. And to be in covenant with the Maker and Sustainer of the universe is to be perfectly and completely blessed and secure in Him.

“God is both mankind’s Creator… and His friend or covenant partner…” – G.J.

The question is… Are you a covenant keeper or a covenant breaker? It’s time for you to take God seriously, my
friend.

About New Hope

We are a community of people who believe in and live for Jesus Christ. We embrace and proclaim the Gospel as taught in the Bible and explained in the teachings of the Reformation: Salvation is by grace alone (sola gratia) because of Jesus Christ alone (solus Christus), received through faith alone (sola fide), based on the teachings of the Bible alone (sola scriptura), all for the glory of God alone (soli Deo gloria). SALVATION IS BY GRACE ALONE, THROUGH FAITH ALONE, BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE, BASED ON THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE ALONE, ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD ALONE.
