2011 Summer Training was Fruitful

Through our recently concluded Summer Training, 6 pastors and 10 church members were equipped to serve in evangelism and disciple-making (more pictures at http://glenmelo.multiply.com/photos/album/135). Moreover, as a major offshoot of the training, we will conduct a foundational seminar in two (2) churches in South Cotabato on May 23-24. God willing, those churches will move towards Biblical faith and ministry. Through Biblical faith and ministry, they will be equipped and empowered to serve individuals and families more fruitfully and effectively.

Please continue to pray for our churches and missions.

1. That God will guide the young men whom we trained to commit to complete our Level-2 Office-bearers’ Training;

2. That God will bless the evangelism and disciple-making outreaches of the church in Marawi;

3. That God will nourish and sustain the faith and commitment of the pastors in South Cotabato;

4. That the Reformed Basics Seminars in South Cotabato next week will be used by the Holy Spirit to firmly establish churches there upon the sure foundation salvation by grace alone through faith alone because of Jesus Christ alone;

5. That God will raise up Biblically-qualified and equipped elders and deacons for the church in Cagayan de Oro City; and

6. That God will provide for the additional Php300,000 that we need to build our Theological Training Center in Cagayan de Oro City.

About New Hope

We are a community of people who believe in and live for Jesus Christ. We embrace and proclaim the Gospel as taught in the Bible and explained in the teachings of the Reformation: Salvation is by grace alone (sola gratia) because of Jesus Christ alone (solus Christus), received through faith alone (sola fide), based on the teachings of the Bible alone (sola scriptura), all for the glory of God alone (soli Deo gloria). SALVATION IS BY GRACE ALONE, THROUGH FAITH ALONE, BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST ALONE, BASED ON THE TEACHINGS OF THE BIBLE ALONE, ALL FOR THE GLORY OF GOD ALONE.
